Madame Tussauds Wax Museum

If you are a Native New Yorker like me or just visiting for the first time it is an absolute MUST that you visit MADAME TUSSAUDS It is the perfect tourist attraction as well as a conversation starter for anyone who loves celebrity, glitz glamour and famous people. I just recently was there for the first time with my family and we had an absolute BLAST!!

Recently, for my Daughter's Birthday it is tradition that we do something special in NYC.
This year I was fortunate enough to be able to treat my family with a trip to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. An attraction I have seen advertised all over the world for its striking mock-ups of all sorts of famous people. I have to admit the idea was a bit creepy if you think about the Vincent Price movie "House of Wax" but as you will see we were pretty safe from any statue coming to life.

Greeted by Nicholas Cage

Julia Roberts
Our first ascension into the museum was the main ballroom filled with A-list actors and actresses and of course a few of my personal favorites Julia Roberts and Robert Pattinson.

As we continued on in what seemed like endless attractions of glamorous old time stars from Movies and Television, There were also Athletes, Singers, movers and shakers and of course  the most recent addition to the museum. One Direction.

I found myself feeling excited for every room we visited and exploring the various decades of those who we have grown to love and admire. My favorite room of all had to be the Pop Culture  Room filled with decade inspired icons from music, fashion, trends and news of the era.
Elton John

The Beatles
Stevie Wonder

Spice Girls

And of course no attraction is complete without some Superheroes from our blockbuster hits on the screen you gotta check out the Marvel Super Heroes 4D Atraction. This is where it gets even your most skeptical of the group (the kids) into full blown awesome mode!!! After you "Marvel" at the legendary ensemble you are then transported to the ultimate finale. The Marvel Super Heroes 4D experience with thrilling special effects like water and wind to tremors making you feel like you are part of the action as our heroes Spiderman, Hulk, Captain America, Thor and Iron Man battle the evil Dr. Doom!

The Hulk

Iron Man

All in all I give this trip 10 stars!!
